From the Director
I had an interesting time trying to bring this vision to life. I told Bowale, an afro-fusion music artiste that I manage, to write something that covers the essence of his debut EP “Nights Like These”, so that I could compose a visual story to it. He came up with this lovely poem for it.
He sent a voicenote & I played the piano to it. Created melodies to dance around his words, the visuals and to add some depth of experience to the film too while I was editing.
Directing was a breeze, Bowale and Ope did an amazing job owning their roles, it was beautiful to watch. I also got really amazing help from Wale Ekemode (M. Signature) while shooting, his knowledge helped make things go a lot smoother.
I enjoyed every stage of making this so I might do it again.
